4WD Tagalong Tours where you drive your vehicle, supply your own meals, camping gear, and let us guide you along the way, or passenger in our 4WD and let us take you on a journey, supplying all meals and accommodation. All you need is your clothes and a sense of adventure!
4WD Tagalong Tours are an exciting way to travel with like-minded people who also enjoy beaches, lakes, rainforest, Island gateways. 4WD along bush tracks and beach driving whilst visiting new and interesting places – all in the safety of your own vehicle, in a convoy with others and the confidence of being led by and experienced guide. 4WD Adventures & Training Australia will pass on local history and information as well as environmental information as we make our way on an adventure you will still be talking about in weeks to come. Island travel is always changing and the tides and beach/weather conditions do play a part.
Generally all tours are graded as “easy” to “medium”, depending on the conditions, and are suitable for standard 4WDs. Weather and track conditions do vary considerably however, so basic recovery gear should be carried in your vehicle. If you are fairly new to 4WDing on sand, our guide will give an introduction to sand driving prior to departing the sealed road, and along the way, so no need to worry. There are plenty of opportunities for some basic 4WD Driver Training throughout the day. You’ll go home with photos and memories to last a life time!
Of course if you are a member of a community group, company, or club, 4WD Adventures & Training Australia are pleased to guide your group on a specially put together 4WD Tagalong Tour of your choice. Relax and enjoy a range of accommodation, share stories by the camp fire and share your experiences and make new friends, and at the same time improving your 4WD skills and knowledge.
